Early Childhood Ministries

Childcare is provided for infants through three year olds during all church services and Sunday and Wednesday evening discipleship activities. Nursery and extended childcare is also scheduled for Ladies' Bible Studies, F.R.I.E.N.D.S., and monthly fellowship class parties based on need reservation and general church policy. For more information, contact Rhonda Koethn.

September - May -- Friday School is our mother's day out program. The hours are 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Using Bible-based curriculum, the children hear Bible stories, do crafts reinforcing the story, and seasonal art projects. Our children also have experiences in music, science and cooking, free play in centers, and recreation. For more information on fees and space available, contact Rhonda Koehn.

Children's Ministries

Emmanuel's ministry to children exists to help parents with their responsibility to train the next generation in biblical truths to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ for their entire lives. To pursue this goal, our church provides fun and dynamic faith-building ministry programming for children.

  • Children's Desiring God -- On Wednesdays during the school year, our church utilizes the "The Children Desiring God" studies that were developed by John Piper's church, Bethlehem Baptist Church. The goal of the studies is to fuel spiritual desire in children by exalting the greatness and worth of God and His glorious work through Christ. This program is available for pre-kindergarten through 5th grade.
  • Sunday School -- Every Sunday morning, your children join hundreds of other kids from across Northwestern Oklahoma in a creative learning environment to grow in their knowledge of the Bible and their understanding of a Christian worldview.
  • KIDS Worship -- Emmanuel provides a high-energy worship environment for children through 5th grade on Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. Parents who wish to have their children with them in "big church" are encouraged, though we recognize that some parents get more out of worship when a place is provided for their kids. We use object lessons, puppets, videos, and basic biblical teaching to equip children for service to the Lord.
  • Children's Camp -- Each summer, Emmanuel sends our children to a week-long experience of powerful worship and intense discipleship training to prepare them for adolescence. The kids participate in games, crafts, cabin times, and other cool activities that strengthen their relationship with Jesus Christ.
