Single adults - like all adults - come from a variety of backgrounds and look for different things when choosing a church home.  As a single, you may be divorced, widowed, or never married, and you may be searching for in-depth Bible study, vibrant, Christ-exalting worship and preaching, a place to serve, a place to belong, or more when you attend church. Your life is full and meaningful. You have needs, but you also have a lot to offer! It's almost as though the term "single adult" falls short of telling others who you are. And it does - because "single" is a descriptor, not a definition, a characteristic and not a summary of your life.

At Emmanuel, we believe single adults are simply adults whose desires, needs, questions, abilities, and strengths are tied to their current stage of life. As a result, our single adult ministry is designed to provide the community and guidance necessary for living life as an adult who is also single.
