At Emmanuel, our purpose is to glorify God. Our mission is to reach and grow people across the street and around the world in the name of the Lord Jesus. We believe that God loves you and we do too!

Values
1. Excellence

We believe that excellence honors God and attracts people. Therefore, we will strive to bring our best offering in all we do (Rom. 12:1).
2. Relationships
(Mt. 22:36-40)
We believe relationships matter most to God because of this we are devoted to loving Him and loving others.
3. Creativity
(Gen. 1; 2; 1 Cor. 9:19-23)
We will do whatever it takes to make disciples as long as it is not illegal, immoral, unethical, or antithetical to Scripture.
4. Deep and Wide
(Heb. 5:11-14; 2 Cor. 5:11-21)
We will grow deep and wide through the preaching, teaching, and study of God’s Word and through reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus.
5. Partnership
(Acts 2:42-47; Eph. 4:11-12; 1 Cor. 12:26-27; Eph. 2:8-10)
We are better together. We need each other. Each one of us plays an important part in serving each other and moving the mission forward.
6. Biblically Driven
(Josh. 1:8; 2 Tim. 3:16-18); Acts 17:11)
God’s Word matters to us and will drive everything we do. Truth will always trump tradition. God’s Word is the final authority on all matters in faith and life.
7. Prayer
(Jer. 33:3, Mt. 4:23-31, Mt. 21:13)
We will always talk with God about people before we talk with people about God.
We exist as a church to practice:
1. Evangelism

3. Discipleship

Practices
Beliefs
We believe that in the essentials relating to salvation we must have unity, in the non-essentials not directly relating to salvation we may have liberty, and in all things, we must show charity.
